Armina Petrosyan received her degree in English with a minor in philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, graduating on the Dean’s List for academic honors.
She subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern Law School’s prestigious two-year accelerated SCALE program. She was the recipient of the California Excellence for the Future Award (CALI) in Legal Analysis, Writing, and Skills, given to the highest scoring student in each law school class. She also earned the highest score in her Defenses in Criminal Law course. She was invited to participate in the Appellate Advocacy Intramural Competition: Moot Court Honors Program, where she was awarded a Certificate of Honor in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement as a Brief Writer Finalist.
During law school, Mrs. Petrosyan was a law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where she conducted preliminary hearings, argued motions, and assisted with trial preparation for both misdemeanor and felony cases. She gained valuable experience and insight into criminal law while further developing the skills necessary to defend individuals against investigations and charges.
Her choice to work at Manshoory Law Group was a direct result of her interest in criminal defense and a natural step in her career path.
