Nikyia Sharp

is a California criminal defense attorney with extensive experience in both prosecution and criminal defense. She represents clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges and brings a strategic, thorough, and client-centered approach to every case.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Sharp served as a Deputy District Attorney with the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony matters and gained significant courtroom and trial experience. She later served as a Senior Associate Attorney representing clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including DUI, domestic violence, theft, narcotics, and serious and violent offenses.

Ms. Sharp earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration (magna cum laude) from North Carolina Central University and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law from Hampton University. She was the recipient of the 2024 Mothers Against Drunk Driving Outstanding Prosecutor of the Year Award.

She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, and the California Association of Criminal Justice.
