Megan Thee Stallion Names Tory Lanez as the Person Who Shot Her

In the lyrics of his newest album, Daystar, Canadian artist Tory Lanez is denying that he shot Megan Thee Stallion. The incident took place in the Hollywood Hills in July. Megan Thee Stallion required surgery for her gunshot wounds. According to claims made by Megan Thee Stallion, it was Lanez who shot her and he is lying about the incident. According to the L.A. County district attorney’s office, the shooter may be charged with felony assault with a firearm. The case continues to be under investigation.

In response to the allegations, Lanez says that not only did he not shoot the rapper but also that her group of people is attempting to frame him for the crime. Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the foot and during surgery, it was found that no bones or tendons were harmed. Only shrapnel was removed from her heel. According to Megan Thee Stallion, she was walking away from an argument when Lanez shot her. She said she never touched anyone and that the shooting was unwarranted.

The LAPD came to the scene to help Stallion, but she said that she didn’t report to the police who was responsible for the shooting. The Times found a text from Lanez to Stallion shortly after the shooting that stated he was sorry for what he did. He said he was too drunk at the time of the shooting. Lanez was arrested after the incident on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon. He has not faced any charges in relation to the shooting. Stallion’s legal team provided documents and information to the LA District Attorney’s office but are questioning why it is taking so long the D.A. to act.

Initially when officers arrived on the scene, Megan Thee Stallion said she was cut with glass. Later on twitter, she announced that she was shot. She also took to twitter to show a picture of her foot telling her followers that she was healing and doing well. After the twitter post she was trolled and had to respond to naysayers wondering why she is able to walk and that she lied about the shooting. She ended up taking down that post of her healing wound.
